While MONI is considered a governance token, giving holders the opportunity to vote on major decisions on the platform and profit from MONI stacks, STT tokens are commonly used to purchase in-game assets. STT tokens are earned by participating in battles, earning dividends from land ownership, and nurturing and selling game characters. MONI tokens are awarded to advanced players in player versus player (PvP) mode at the end of each season. 
 The Monsta Infinite ecosystem supports enhancements to the body parts of the game characters, which means that Monsta upgrades can earn a new skill card. According to the game design, in order to enhance the character, the player must sacrifice other Monstas on the team. This approach allows developers to control mythical species populations and keep assets liquid.
