Esteban Ordano is a software engineer who co-founded Decentraland with Ari Merich. Ordano served as Decentraland's CTO, though he recently returned to a more advisory role after the platform became a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).
Ordano studied at the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology's engineering faculty and briefly worked as an engineering intern at Google before starting to work at BitPay. Ordano has also helped develop a number of Bitcoin-related products.

Ari is the project lead on Decentraland, the first decentralised VR platform. He previously worked as an analyst at CharlesRiver Ventures, a leading silicon valley start-up fund, and was the founder and CEO of Benchrise, a big data company. Before moving into technology, he spent two years as a Nih researcher, conducting neuroscience research to execute human decision making, while running a BPO organization for clients like Amazon and General Electric.
