NEAR Foundation announces that Terra is integrating UST into NEAR and Aurora ecology. The integration was implemented in collaboration with the DeFi protocol NearPad (DEX AMM) and Rose, a DeFi protocol developed based on Aurora. In addition, the collaboration between Terra, NearPad, and Rose will facilitate the growth of UST (TerraUSD) in NEAR and Aurora ecology. Users can bridge Terra's assets or other supported on-chain assets directly to Aurora via Allbridge. NearPad and Rose will provide incentives for users to store UST liquidity in NEAR and Aurora for easy access by the wider NEAR and Aurora communities.

The team is focused on the latest version of The Terra Mainnet, Columbus-5, which is a very important mainnet upgrade, including Treasury fund allocation and destruction mechanism updates.

Terra launched a $150 million eco-fund, Accomplice Blockchain, Arrington XRP Capital, BlockTower Capital, Delphi Digital, Galaxy Digital, Hashed, Pantera Capital, ParaFi Capital, QuantStamp, etc. The purpose of the foundation is to foster applications within Terra's ecology and improve the accessibility of Terra DeFi's ecology for adoption in more mainstream scenarios.

DeFi savings agreement initiated by Terra: Anchor has raised $20 million. Arrington XRP Capital, Hashed, Galaxy Digital, Pantera Capital, AngelList founders Naval RavikantDelphi Digital, Dragonfly Capital, Alameda Research and other institutions participated in the investment. In the same month, Anchor V1 version was launched.

Terraform Labs, the team behind Terra, raised $25 million in funding from Galaxy Digital, Pantera Capital, Delphi Digital, and Coinbase Ventures, The funds will be used to invest in Mirror, Anchor and other critical infrastructure.

Terra launches Mirror Protocol for Synthetic assets.

The total number of Terra accounts exceeds 2 million.

Solona introduced Terra stablecoin into The Solona ecosystem, and the subsequent cooperation between the two resources has been strengthened.

Terra launched its mobile payment platform Chai. In October of the same year, Chai registered nearly 500,000 users and launched a physical payment card in July 2020. The total number of officially disclosed Chai users as of August 2021 was 2.466 million.

The Terra project was led by Binance, Huobi, Okex, Dunamu (parent of Upbit, one of South Korea's largest exchanges), $32 million in investment from Polychain Capital, FBG Capital, Hashed, 1KX, Kenetic Capital and Arrington XRP.

The Terra project was launched in January 2018, and in its white paper, it describes its vision as creating a decentralized staboin system that straddles the fiat and crypto worlds, and facilitating the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies in the true sense of the word.
