Immutable X

Immutable X is Ethereum's first ZK-rollup layer 2 protocol for transactions and transfers of NFTs, featuring instant transaction confirmation, zero gas fees, and massive scalability as it can accommodate 9,000 transactions per second. Immutable X does all of this without compromising user ownership. The protocol was built by the Starkware team using StarEx technology. In fact, StarEx allows to perform transactions outside the blockchain (on layer 2), update them, and then attest them back to the main chain. At present, Immutable X is the only project of the ETH layer-2 protocol that focuses on NFT and gamefi. If Ethereum goes further in NFT in the future, immutable x is currently the layer-2 protocol that is most likely to achieve the goal for Ethereum. IMX core mechanism
The core of Immutable X technology is the ZK Rollup expansion solution. Using Validity Proof means that once the proof is accepted on-chain, users can immediately confirm that these transactions are valid and immutable, and there will be no delay when funds are transferred from layer 2 to layer 1, because the funds are verified by Validity Proof , users can withdraw funds immediately. Therefore, the ZK Rollup technology optimizes the disadvantage of the longer withdrawal time of Optimistic Rollup. With ZK Rollup, there will be no delay when funds are transferred from layer 2 to layer 1 because the proof of validity accepted by the ZK Rollup contract has already verified the funds.
